How long does it take to complete a feasibility study or appraisal?

What is the difference between a market study, a feasibility study and an appraisal?
– A market study analyzes supply and demand trends in a particular market, and is typically a good first step in determining the potential for a viable project in a particular market.
– A feasibility study includes the market study but is site specific. It includes revenue and expense projections, construction cost projections and key financial metrics on equity returns and debt coverage.
– An appraisal is similar to a feasibility study; however, instead of equity return and debt coverage calculations, the market value of the property is determined. The market value can be of the property “as is”, “as permitted but not yet built”, “as complete” and “as stabilized”.
